The “Music for Meals” fundraising event for Meals on Wheels Brevard will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 9th at 185 King Street in Brevard. Meals on Wheels Brevard
Local musicians Spalding McIntosh and the LionHearts, accompanied by opening act Abby Bryant, will provide live music for the event that starts at noon. Guests may also participate in a raffle and silent auction to bid on items donated by local businesses.
All proceeds from “Music for Meals” will directly benefit Meals on Wheels Brevard, which since 1978 has delivered nutritious meals to neighbors who need support to remain healthy, independent, and at home.
At present, Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals and a human connection to between 85 and 90 seniors in Transylvania County through more than 80 dedicated drivers every weekday.
