The Hunger Coalition of Transylvania County invites pedestrians to join together on Saturday, May 16 for a 5K walk and community scavenger hunt.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the local non-profit organization that fights insecurity will be at Oskar Blues brewery raising funds to keep local families fed.
Bring your family, your neighbors, and your walking shoes to participate in a 5K walk and scavenger hunt to solve clues and win prizes while contributing to a 501(c)(3) non-profit that uses donations to provide food to the communities in Transylvania County.
Tickets are $25 and children under 5 years of age will be admitted free. The first 50 people who arrive will be given free event t-shirts.
