All of Transylvania County and beyond is cordially invited to The Shed in Penrose on Saturday, June 6 for a night of live music, community, food, vendors, merch, and mountain vibes featuring The Cody Hale Trio and Songs from the Road Band.
This event is hosted outside on the Siniard farm with the beautiful Little River wrapping around the venue. The Shed is located at 302 Heath Rd, 302 Heath Road in Penrose. Upon arrival, you will be shown where to park. Blankets, lawn chairs and canopies are welcome and recommended. Please no dogs, or other animals.
A portion of proceeds and event profits will go toward supporting Junior Appalachian Musicians and local community groups throughout WNC. Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) is an after-school program for children in grades 4 – 8 and beyond that introduces music through small-group instruction on instruments common to the Appalachian region, such as fiddle, banjo, and guitar.
The Transylvania County JAM Program offers free classes and weekly opportunities for students to play music together in an informal setting. Classes are offered for guitar, clawhammer banjo, fiddle, band, and ukulele.
