Animal lovers and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages are invited to the Cradle of Forestry in Pisgah Forest on Friday, July 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. to experience “Raptor Rendezvous,” a live bird demonstration presented by Jeff Curtis of Curtis Wright Falconry.
Guests will get the chance to view birds of prey up close and personal while learning about how these graceful animals’ play a vital part in the food chain of the wild.
As the event will be held in the Cradle’s outdoor amphitheater, visitors are asked to observe the family-friendly presentation from a respectful distance of at least 4 feet and please leave their pets at home.
Raptor Rendezvous is made possible by generous support from American Backcountry and is free with paid admission to the Cradle of Forestry.
