Students visited the U.S. Capitol Building to meet with government representatives and advocate for career and technical education (CTE) funding and continued support of programs like HOSA, a student-led career and technical organization for students exploring or preparing for health-care careers that was previously called Health Occupations Students of America.

HOSA advisor Amber Khalafalla accompanied students on the trip and said they learned a great deal about leadership, advocacy, and service during the trip.
