Transylvania Regional Hospital invites local families and community members for an afternoon of family fun and free food at its Fall Community Event on Saturday, Oct. 31, from noon to 3 p.m. in the hospital parking lot located at 260 Hospital Drive.
The autum-based celebration will feature trunk-or-treating, games and live music from both Byrds & Crows and The Traveling Transylvanians.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of free food including chili, vegetarian chili, hot dogs, cornbread muffins and dirt pudding, but the real treat could be neighbors connecting with members of the hospital staff in ways not always expected at the 25-bed, full-service hospital.
