Brevard College invites the public to the second annual BC Day community celebration on Saturday, July 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Admission is free for the festive event that will feature live music, an artisan market, family-friendly activities and food trucks on the Brevard College campus to bring the local community together to celebrate with Brevard College.
Will Hartz, a 2011 graduate of the Brevard College School of Music known for his Appalachian soul style and energetic live performances, will headline a live concert on the campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Numerous local food trucks are confirmed for the event and BC Day’s Artisan Market will feature more than 25 booths and vendors from community organizations and businesses.
Activities for children will include face painting, a bounce house, a water slide and balloon twisting.
The BC Day festivities will take place in the heart of the Brevard College campus between Green Hall and the Bell Tower. Vehicles should enter the campus at North Campus Drive via North Broad Street with parking available throughout the BC campus. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music and festivities.
