The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars invite the community to participate in the American Legion vs. VFW blood drive on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 115 E. Morgan Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
Whether supporting the American Legion or cheering on the VFW, the real winners are the patients whose lives may be saved through blood donation. Every donation can make a difference, and community participation is needed to help maintain a lifesaving blood supply.
Walk-ins are welcome and donors are asked bring their Red Cross donor card or a photo ID.
Jet’s Pizza has generously donated pizza for the event and donors who give blood will receive a $10 e-gift card by email and 500 bonus points toward Red Cross donor awards.
To schedule an appointment or for more information, call 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter Sponsor Code – AmericanLegionPost88.
