The Transylvania County Library and Looking Glass Playhouse invite the community to enjoy Adam Szymkowicz’s Kodachrome in the Rogow Room of the library on Tuesday, Nov. 3 and Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. each night.
The play about love, nostalgia, the seasons and how we learn to say goodbye welcomes audiences to a small town where everybody knows each other and the pace of life allows the pursuit of love to take up as much space as it needs. Town photographer Suzanne lets the town peek into her neighbors’ lives to catch glimpses of romance in all its stages of development.
Looking Glass Playhouse is a Brevard-based theatre company dedicated to presenting a wide range of work, from emerging playwrights to timeless classics. The company was founded by Claudia Carter Covington, who acted professionally and served as literary manager for Charlotte Repertory Theatre for 20 years before moving to Brevard and directs both Kodachrome performances.
Both performances will be staged after the Library, located at 212 South Gaston Street, is closed to visitors.
