One of the ramps at Tannery Skate Park closed for repairs on Monday, Sept. 21 and an estimate on when it will reopen was not immediately available.
The Tannery Skate Park was built in the spring of 2020 with a PARTF state grant to purchase the property where the outdoor ramps were constructed on the concrete structure that opened to the public June 10, 2020.
The park located at 200 Silversteen Drive is inspected three times each week by Brevard Public Works employees who also provide maintenance for the facility.
Those looking for a local alternative are advised to visit the skate park at the City Sports Complex located at 824 Ecusta Road.
