TC Dems hosted fifth Freedom Festival in Silversteen Park on Saturday

The Transylvania County Democratic Party invited the entire community to join them at Silversteen Park Aug. 15 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for their fifth annual Freedom Festival.

Representatives of the Brevard Sustainability Council distributed literature and promotional materials at the Freedom Festival on Aug. 15 in Silversteen Park. ***BrevardBeagle.com***

The event was filled with free food, live music, games, and family-friendly fun as local political candidates endorsed by the Democratic Party shared their views on the issues and connected with their neighbors.

Children enjoyed the inflatable fun of a bouncy house at the 2026 Freedom Festival. ***BrevardBeagle.com***

There was also a bouncy house and face-painting station for the children and information from local non-profit organizations about civic issues for anyone of voting age.
