The lineup for the 20th annual Mountain Song Festival this Labor Day weekend has been announced and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20th.
Two days of mountain music September 11 and 12 at Brevard Music Center will feature the Sam Bush Band, the Tim O’Brien Band, the John Cowan Trio, Alison Brown, Cody Hale, Shannon Whitworth and Woody Platt, as well as local and Grammy Award winning artists Steep Canyon Rangers.
Reserved seating is available in the main auditorium and specific seats may be selected for each full day of music offered rain or shine.
There are 1800 permanent seats in the auditorium’s covered section with ample outdoor seating on both sides of the main stage.
Lawn seats will remain general admission to offer a more relaxed and informal experience, but these seats are first come, first served.
Children age 10 and under will be admitted to the lawn section free only with a paid accompanying adult ticketholder and they must remain in the lawn area during the concerts.
The Brevard Music Center recommends buying tickets online rather than calling the box office for quicker service.
The Mountain Song Festival supports The Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County.
